The new pelajarin.ai look

pelajarin.ai has a new look, and every user can now try it. The old look, Classic, is still there, so you can switch back and forth whenever you like.

Switching to the new look

  1. Open app.pelajarin.ai in a browser, on a computer or on your phone, and sign in.
  2. On a phone: tap Open menu first, then scroll to the bottom of the menu. On a computer: look at the bottom of the side menu.
  3. Click Try the new look.

The first time you switch, a "Welcome to the new look" message greets you and shows you where the button back to Classic is.

Going back to Classic

Click the Classic button at the top of the screen. On a phone it shows as an icon without a label. You can switch to the new look again at any time with Try the new look in the menu.

Your choice is saved per browser

Your choice is stored in the browser you are using, not in your account. If you switch browsers, change phones or sign in on another computer, pelajarin.ai opens in Classic again. Just click Try the new look once more in that browser.

Learning chapter by chapter

In the new look, the Learn tab breaks your note into chapters you work through one at a time.

  • A note you create on the Free plan opens only its first chapter. The chapters after it are locked, marked with a padlock. A note created while you are on Pro has every chapter. See Free vs Pro.
  • If you are on the Free plan, open a locked chapter, and the screen only says "This chapter has no content yet.", the chapter is locked for the Free plan. It is not broken, and nothing failed to generate.
  • If you are already on Pro but chapters in a note created before you upgraded are still locked, contact us so we can help.

Creating notes and using Folders

  • In the new look, notes are made from the "What do you want to learn today?" box on Home: choose Unggah (upload), YouTube, or Rekam (record) to add your material, then send it. These three buttons are labelled in Indonesian even when the app is in English. In the new look, notes are called lessons.
  • Subjects are called Folders in the new look, and they hold the same notes. A new lesson is not in any folder yet.
  • To put a lesson in a folder, tap the ā‹® button on the lesson's card, choose Move to folder, pick the folder, then Save. The folder's own page has no button for adding a lesson.
  • You can create a folder with New folder in the All folders picker on Home.
